Global Action Month

Can we set up CCTV cameras near the river to stop villagers from throwing plastic in the river? Why is there no system in our village for waste management? Such questions were raised by youth associated with Work for Equality to Local Panchayat Members to increase their seriousness to protect nature

On the occasion of Global Action Month, the youth associated with Work For Equality organized rallies, street plays, cleanliness drives, and discussions with villagers, local panchayat members, and Block Development Officers so that their focus would shift to environmental issues and increase awareness to produce less garbage and develop a proper system to recycle it.

This program was organized in association with Terre des Hommes – India
