Jagruti: Women’s Health Awareness Program

Program Overview

Empowering rural women with accurate health information, timely care, and community-led awareness to improve long-term well-being.

Jagruti is a community-driven women’s health initiative that brings accurate, accessible information directly to rural households. Through trained community volunteers, the program spreads awareness on anemia, reproductive health, nutrition, and overall well-being, ensuring women receive timely guidance and support.

Between 2014 and 2017, Jagruti reached and supported over 1,200 women through door-to-door outreach and health camps, including blood tests, eye screenings, and cancer checks. By connecting families with essential medical services, the program helped improve early detection, strengthen health outcomes, and build healthier, informed communities.
