Girls Leadership

A great tribute to our inspiration “Mother Savitribai Phule”, the Indian social reformer by empowering more girls through our Mi Shakti - Rising Girls Initiative by Work for Equality because she saw and believed in the girls’ power to change this world to make it a gender-equitable world!

29 girls from more than 15 communities went through Mi Shakti- Rising Girls Leadership Training Program which focuses on building the capacities of the girls to understand their own issues, collectively find solutions to it and enhance their advocating skills to start off this new year with great enthusiasm and work towards empowering more girls on their way!

And to inspire them we also invited Police Constable Miss Kohinkar to talk with them about the various opportunities and how they can stand up for their rights and motivate each other to do more!
